Public Policy Center
We speak boldly in the public square on issues of human rights and justice which empower and inspire women. We are pro-woman, pro-wellness, and pro-justice. We work to end abortion violence by engaging culture, empowering individuals, and informing governmental policy.
"I deplore the horrible crime of child-murder… No matter what the motive."

Standing With the Suffragists
WHY Does Stanton Need a Public Policy Center?
Simple. Because the women we serve deserve and want a seat at the table. Their voice matters.
Stanton Healthcare’s establishment of a Stanton Public Policy arm is crucial for advancing our life-affirming women’s healthcare movement on a broader scale. Stanton Public Policy Center is a women’s advocacy and educational group that works on issues of human rights and justice, empowering and inspiring women. Affiliated with Stanton Healthcare, which operates life-affirming women’s health clinics in America and internationally, this policy division actively advocates for and protects the dignity of women and their access to life-affirming healthcare. We work hand in hand with officials on both sides of the aisle, while remaining nonpartisan. We do not endorse political candidates, nor do we participate in campaign contributions or elections. However, we do encourage grassroots involvement by individuals in the political process. By engaging in public policy, Stanton ensures that the voices of women, particularly those facing unexpected pregnancies, are represented in key decision-making spaces. This effort not only safeguards the life-affirming work being done at the clinical level but also fosters a culture of hope, pushing back against harmful policies that seek to undermine women’s health and life-affirming care. In an era where healthcare policies are rapidly evolving, Stanton’s proactive approach is essential for advocating on behalf of the women we serve, creating a compassionate, just, and pro-woman society.
The recent resolution within the Idaho Medical Association, which attacked life-affirming pregnancy clinics like Stanton Healthcare, and our ultimate victory, exemplifies why having a dedicated advocacy and policy arm is essential. The IMA’s resolution, which sought to undermine the work of life-affirming clinics, threatened the care and support that thousands of women depend on. Our ability to successfully counter their attack shows the critical need for strong advocacy to protect not only our clinics but also the women we serve. Without a proactive policy arm, our life-affirming services and the dignity of women facing unexpected pregnancies would be at risk. This victory is a reminder that ongoing vigilance is needed to safeguard the right to compassionate, life-affirming care.
Stanton Public Policy draws great inspiration from our founding sisters in the suffragist movement who heroically fought in the public square for equality and ensuring that all women would have the right to vote. Brave women like Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton were tireless advocates working and speaking out against the injustice of treating women like second class citizens.
Through their dedication, passion and commitment, on August 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment passed giving women the right to vote! 2020 marked the centennial of enshrining this fundamental right in our Constitution, inspiring the launch of Purple Sash Revolution.
Watch Sen. Marshall Question Brandi Swindell
After the overturn of Roe v. Wade, our Founder and CEO Brandi Swindell testified on Capitol Hill about the life-affirming work of pregnancy medical clinics across the country. Stanton is part of a movement which has over 3,000 pregnancy resource centers and medical clinics across the nation that outnumber abortion clinics by four to one.
During the U.S. Senate hearing, Brandi shared the story of Stanton’s success in providing alternatives to abortion and compassionate care to women. Her testimony can be read here.
5 INITIATIVES
1. #NotFakeToMe
This initiative highlights the genuine, life-affirming care that women receive at pro-woman healthcare clinics like Stanton. The hashtag underscores the importance of ensuring that women have access to real, compassionate care and refutes claims that these clinics are fake or deceptive. It’s a powerful reminder that the women served by these clinics value the support they receive, and it’s not “fake” to them—it’s life-changing.
Since May 2, the pro-life movement in America has been under attack. Life-affirming clinics and Pregnancy Resource Centers, that help women with unexpected pregnancies, have been firebombed, vandalized and threatened with many having to spend thousands of dollars in security costs.
Yet, with all this violence directed against pro-life centers, NOT ONE arrest has been made by the FBI and other federal law enforcement agencies against those who are initiating these attacks. As of today, President Biden, Nancy Pelosi and Majority Leader Schumer have failed to personally condemn this violence which is allowing a target to be placed on the back of the entire pro-life community.
These attacks are not just “physical” in nature. Pro-choice legislators and leaders are adding to this atmosphere of violence by waging a propaganda campaign and calling life-affirming clinics and pregnancy resource centers, “Fake Clinics,” and attempting to shut us down.
How We Are Responding
In response to these attacks against our clinics, Stanton Public Policy Center/Purple Sash Revolution is launching a nationwide campaign called #NotFakeToMe during the January 18-22 March For Life week in Washington, D.C.
Purple Sash Revolution will be reminding our political leaders that our clients did not receive “fake” medical care, or “fake” baby formula doing the nationwide shortage. Nor did they receive “fake” baby supplies, financial support, counseling and so much more. We shouldn’t be attacking clinics like Stanton or proposing anti-women legislation. Rather, we should be standing with them. We invite you to support Purple Sash Revolution by using #NotFakeToMe to share your story and share your support.
Our focus will be to call for the House Judiciary Committee to hold public hearings on why our life-affirming centers are being attacked with impunity with no response from the Department of Justice. Next, we will be meeting will pro-life legislators asking them to protect our clinics from radical anti-woman pro-abortion politicians who are trying to close our healthcare facilities
Finally, we will be bringing women and their children to Washington, D.C. who have received quality medical care and have been supported by our centers when they faced an unexpected pregnancy. These incredible women will be sharing their personal stories with members of Congress, like Senator Warren and Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez and inviting them to tour our Stanton Healthcare clinic.
2. #EndAbortionAbuse
Abortion abuse is real. You are not alone.
This initiative exposes and combats the physical, emotional, and psychological abuse that women often face within the abortion industry. By advocating for policies that protect women from predatory practices, this campaign seeks to hold abortion clinics accountable for the harm they cause and ensure that women are treated with dignity and respect in all healthcare settings. It also highlights efforts to end forced, unwanted, and coerced abortions, while requiring truthfulness and transparency in abortion clinics, ensuring every woman’s reproductive wellness is protected.
End Chemical Abortions
While we continue to see a decline in surgical abortions across America, we are witnessing a dramatic increase in chemical abortions.
Chemical abortions account for 54% of all abortions – up from 39% in 2017 – according to the Guttmacher Institute.
In light of these alarming statistics, we are launching a National Campaign:
#BanChemicalAbortions and #ProLifeProGreen
Our goal is to end chemical abortions through public engagement, education, public policy, and legislation. We must stand against this barbaric practice that destroys human life and harms women as well as our environment.
Ways We're Working to End Chemical Abortions
Ensure all states with trigger laws in place to ban abortions when Roe V. Wade is overturned will treat chemical abortions in the same way as surgical abortions.
Draft model legislation for states to ban chemical abortions.
Organize public rallies and demonstrations across the country calling for a ban of chemical abortions.
Work with legislators on environmental laws to prevent children who have been killed through chemical abortions from being flushed into local sewage and drainage systems.
Provide educational materials for pro-life organizations and churches regarding the harmful effects of chemical abortions.
Work with federal, state and local pro-life politicians on detailed public statements regarding banning chemical abortions.

This initiative emphasizes the importance of providing comprehensive support to women who make the brave decision to carry their pregnancies to term, especially in challenging circumstances. It seeks to create a culture where every woman who chooses life is met with the resources, encouragement, and community support she needs to thrive, ensuring that no woman faces this journey alone.
